    OpenGL, or Direct3D?

    Well, i have been using OpenGL for the last few days developing a game. I was just wondering if it would be better(more efficient, better framerates) to use Direct3D instead. I will be making a 3d game, although i doubt it will be very graphically intense.

    Was just wondering, because i would hate to have to make the switch after the project is already in development.

    If you write your code properly; it shouldn't really matter. Wrapping a new graphics library should be fairly simple. (Eg; some preprocessor directives should handle just about everything.)

    Well, if you're using C#, it would be alot easier for you to code in XNA... I dont know if you know about it, maybe you just didnt want to use it, but it's a C# wrapper for D3D (as far as I remember) and makes coding games/engines alot more easier!
