Problem with ReadProcessMemory : access denied

Hi!
I've got a problem with my tool which read some memory values in warhammer online.

It use ReadProcessMemory to read hp/pos/etc...

My code work on wow, RF Online and many other games.

Since I installed SP3, so maybe this is the problem.

MHS5 can read the addresses, not my tool.

My pseudocode:

1.EnableTokenPrivilege (SE_DEBUG_NAME) //grant privilege to read/write in an other processus

2.OpenProcess(PROCESS_VM_OPERATION, FALSE, Pid); //I open the processus

3.ReadProcessMemory(Hdl, (LPCVOID)posa.Xa, (LPVOID)pos.X, 4, NULL) //I try to read the processus at 0x00ED8AE4 (Basepointer 0x00ED8AC0)

And i get: "[-]ReadProcessMemory failed with error 5: Access denied."

I tried to launch it with administrator rights, still the same error code i'm going crazy :'(

What's wrong?

Try using PROCESS_ALL_ACCESS as first parameter to OpenProcess();

No it was not the problem, kaspersky hooked OpenProcess so it was impossible to get an handle...fixed now..I can teleport in Warhammer Online
