The Negative Number Issue (tm)
Hi all,
I heard sometimes HUD starts to display huge, negative experience numbers.
The initial idea is the number (long) overflows somehow.
HUD uses long (64 bit number, -9,223,372,036,854,775,808 to 9,223,372,036,854,775,807) to store the values, so I have doubts it can overflow...
What are your observations? Post some screenshots please, maybe together we can figure out what can possible cause the problem.
Personally I checked all code inside HUD (related to experience reading and calculation) and it looks fine. So I have no clue

I think this only happens in high GR situations and high density maps. The calc can't handle a certain density (possibly due to RAM memory overflow) and, when that happens, dives into the negative figures. This is just my opinion and not based on actual game play.

hopefully the new release (using interface version 9.1) will solve the problem:

I had a negative paragon percentage number with my paragon percentage plugin yesterday, but I think it was due to roundings because it was between 99.9x percent and the new paragon level (the exp numbers were ok).

in case it happens again, please report it with screenshot and detailed info

same thing again 99%+ of paragon level but this time no EXP numbers in the exp bar :

edit:
killing weak monsters :
- doesn't change the negative paragon percentage number (it stays at -188200%) until next paragon level
- exp numbers given by the game are increasing properly
- still no numbers in the exp bar from TurboHUD until next paragon level

I can say same as User5981 that the portrait and paragon bar show wrong numbers but does correct it self after next paragon level. I did try version TurboHUD 19.8.6.0 (v9.1) right out of the box as well with no changes at all and nothing added to it. Unzipped and played. It had same problem with numbers incorrect. Just wanted to be sure it was not any plugins causing a issue. Program is running as admin.
I'm not but I think this happened when I did not play after a certain amount of time. It did not seem to happen if I played with 24 hours of last but did popup if I had gone 2 days or more. I could be wrong but that is the only thing I can think of that was different from being fine to being incorrect.

I have played a lot lately and it happens anyway.
