TH info is limited to and by what is available to the client. The client only sees around 2 screens away from the character, so that's the extent of what TH can display.

i play d3 on nintendo switch with my kids. think they should get hud-less experience first on pc i am the last man standing in my clan. most of my mates are playing wow now... D3 is not dead at all.
after this big hit in the ass on blizzcon, lets hope blizz is getting back on street and give us what we want. but i think it will be a long way to d4. well lets see

I too still browse this forum from time to time. my plan for d3 was always to at least finish each season journey including guardian tier. but with that diablo immortal disaster my motivation for that is gone.... so im done with d3 until they add actual content and not just some cosmetic goodies or some minor seasonal buffs like double treasure goblins and stuff like that.

nowadays there is less players in d3, then it used to be, but still enough to not consider this game dead.
i still play d3 with friends and only cuz thud is still on, same as many others i cant imagine this game without it.
thank u one more time for creating it, making it public and keeping alive
a lot of people you never heard about, extremly greatfull for all your effort, even if you can't tell judging by incoming donations

there is no artificial limit. HUD displays everything it can find in the game's memory. The server is sending only required info to the client. In fact, HUD has MORE data than the client, because it remembers far scenes as well, while the client only keeps the near ones.
Do not send me private messages unless it is absolutely necessary or the content is sensitive or when I ask you to do that...

What's up guys? Is Diablo 3 still alive? I mean it counts alive if more than 5000 people is playing it
What are the current guesstimations? People will stop playing even D3 because there is no hope for an expansion or what?
Just kidding, but: or maybe everybody will move to play Immortal instead of D3 itself?
What about YOU? Still playing the game? Do you still enjoy HUD?
A few days ago my 2 year VPN subscription expired and I'll not renew it.
I don't think there is any point of having the Dashboard, because if I had no time to implement the Dashboard itself, then I won't have time in the next 2 years neither...
So I'll make a HUD release without a Dashboard connection soon.
Regard,
John
d3 is dead - i only looking if an update is out and look into ownedcore more times as in diablo itself...
you have done a great job and its fun to see how many programmers use hud to customize all kind of stuff with this great framework.
kind regards

D3 is not dead. There are still tons of players. I dont think D3 will die anytime soon. If there is a D4 in the works, it has to be 2-3 mayber 4 years out. I am hoping that we get a xpac along with another class before a D4. The necro was and is still popular since it was introduced. Everyday I see players wanting to PL a necro cause they just bought it.

Guys, please embrace yourself, because without Enigma there is no guarantee I'll be able to update HUD after a patch hits
I'll do everything to do so, but again: no guarantee.

hey john,
I also still play D3 occasionally but also somewhat moved on to another game. I hope you find a way to make TH work for the new patch. I enjoy the first 1-2 weeks in a new season, but I definatly won't without TH around.
I wish you all the best.
