2.6.1c Patch THUD Not Working

I'v tried launching 2.6.1.50649, but as I sign in, I get blizzard blocked; asking me to update. When I update the client, the current THUD version is outdated. That's all I have tried, but I have no idea what else to try. Something about not being able to read memory files, and this patch seems like not much of a change to the game, but to block THUD and RoS-Bot; maybe some lag issues. Thought about comparing the older transition between THUD and D3 client updates to see the change of difference, but I don't have any older D3 client files that match with THUD versions. I am not a professional coder, but I'v been introduced to pc since 2002. If you know how to make THUD work without waiting for KJ to release the new version, please, let everyone and myself know. I am dying to play D3 with THUD back on.

There are reasons why each TurboHUD release is related to a D3 client version.
I goes from optimization of TurboHUD for minor under the hood changes in Diablo (for some TurboHUD users not to complain all day), to bypass complicated encrypted memory which prevent TurboHUD to work.
Unless KJ decides to definitively stop TurboHUD, any workaround to avoid that TurboHUD version / Diablo client version lock is disrespect of his work.
As enigma32 pointed out, that update will be complicated.
Be patient and be confident.

Well if you play mostly solo or with a closed group, you all can refuse to update D3 and then can still use Thud.
Of course you cant invite people with the new updated D3 version.

At least that worked yesterday for us, i didnt login today yet

You completely botched the instructions.
1. He never said to create a new .txt on desktop. He said to open notepad, the application.
2. He never said "hosts.txt", he said "hosts".
3. He never said system32, he said system32\drivers\etc
4. It's not hard opening up a notepad and then drag and drop the "hosts" file in system32\drivers\etc into it.
5. It's not hard copy pasting the line from last step into the now opened hosts file in notepad.

If you spend more time reading the instructions instead of making assumptions and writing up crap like this, you might get somewhere.

With that said, it's not gonna work anyhow. Only reacting to your shitpost.

Blocking the version check from THUD in the hosts file isn't going to make THUD work.
I'm not going to bother explaining why, just please stop telling people to edit files on their
system.

I didn't botch anything I followed exactly what was written which means the instructions are fucked up beyond belief and to make matters worse you just fucked them up even further by making things even more confusing and impossible by posting even more bullshit that makes no sense

This is exactly what both you and the instructions are saying for people to do:
1. Open files without saying where the fuck the files even are. NO DIRECTORY HAS BEEN SPECIFIED ON BOTH WHERE THE FILES ARE, OR WHERE ANYTHING GOES
2. Both you and the instructions are saying to open files that do not exist, THERE IS NO SUCH FILE AS HOSTS.txt FILE ANYWHERE so stop saying it.
3. Create and open a new notepad.txt on your desktop, then Drag and drop an already existing file from pastebin onto that open notepad.txt
4. After you do steps 1-3 now you state to open any file in system32 and then copy and paste some text into the bottom of it without stating exactly what is being pasted into that file DO YOU PUT JUST THE IP NUMBER OR DO YOU PUT THE IP AND the WORD pastebin.com.

None of that is even possible to follow because it states to do things that make no sense.

wtf is wrong with you?

1. Open a notepad <--- as clear as it gets. open a fucking editor aka notepad a program. no TXT-file goddamn.
2. Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc <--- directory to open... as clear as it gets... open the fucking directory that is stated here
3. Drag&drop "hosts" file into notepad <--- there is a filed named hosts in this directory. if you can read, you see that there is not file-extension like your stated TXT. that means you are too dumb to enable the hidden files in your windows settings if you cant see it there. instructions like this are for people with a certain basic knowledge of things.
4. put

77.223.80.31 pastebin.com <--- you put exactly this in the file. as easy as it gets. it is even separated from other instructions for the dumbest of dumb users.

on a new line in the end of a file
5. hit save

geeeez.... anyway it doesnt solve the problem with the new patch. so chill and read some books...
