I'm curious what how other are allocating cores and RAM when running more than one VM.

I have a 2500k @4.0, 8 gig RAM. I want to try and run 3 VMs at same time but not sure how to allocate to get best performance. What do you guys do?

EDIT: Nevermind, got it running nicely at 1 core and 1 gb RAM allocated to each. Seems to be all it needs.

Well, I have a problem using AutoIt script in Diablo III on VM. I don't know why but when I start the script and come back after some time to check how is it going, Diablo III client is closed, it happend several times already and I don't know what may be cause of that. Any clue ?

Maybe your resolution is not at 1920x1080 ?

It is. Script is running for a while but after some time ~10-30 min there isn't Diablo 3 launched anymore and I have no idea why it happens

As a preventative measure from being banned, what ip program do you guys use if you wanted to run multiple bots in VMware and play your main account at the same time on the same computer?

I read that its not advised but not sure if there's a work around?

What OS are you using on your VM? And what settings are you running your D3 in VM at? Resolution is 1900X1080?

use all 800x600 scripts, they murder at 1 core 1 GB.

wizard 800x600 shrink is perfect.

my 800x600 DH shrink should be perfect if I could get it to ****ing fastfind correctly, and when it does, yeah.

Except there is a lack of good 800X600 scripts around atm. And I dont have a wiz so I can't use chancity's.

Yeah my wizards are running the 800x600 and DH running 1920x1080. Either way 1 core 1 gb works for them but it has a rough start and a rough ending meaning first several minutes is super laggy and after about 4-5 hours of non-stop botting it gets laggy. I've since up'd the allocation to see if it combats the lag after several hours of playing so we'll see.

And yeah I am patiently waiting a 800x600 DH script. It would make things much easier.

I got an issue when i run the scripts D3 lags alot!
Scripts take 25% CPU in task manager and D3 0% for some reason :/

Can anyone tell me how to change my video or 'display' adapter in my VMware Workstation client? Everything seems to be setup properly except D3 says it doesn't support my 'VMwhatever' video card.

Is this because I have a slightly older version of VMware? Or how can I change this? Thanks.


edit: Anyone? Is it my older version of VM Workstation causing the issue?

Anyone? I'm guessing it's my version but I don't want to go through the trouble until I know for sure. A quick one line answer will suffice if my version is the culprit here.

yeah, that sounds like it might be a problem. Install w7 x64, no reason to install anything older or shittier, lmk how it works. Just grab a copy from TPB or anywhere else.

how do you install 64bit to vmware? i always get an error, ive tried adding more ram and core, and no results
