I've been running this for ages, currently i have 220% MF and getting average of 1-2 rares on most runs, sometimes even 3. That's without any Neph stacks.

was doing it for something like 3hrs to check what this spot is worth and got nice skull grasp worth ~~50m. also few rares worth 500k. The thing is, i'm not getting ilvl63 items at all. Top rare was 62.

for anyone saying this is a waste..try putting MF gear on. I very rarely DON'T get a yellow with 320mf. Each run takes ~30secs.

I'm wondering though, is act 2 goblin better than this?

I much prefer the goblin, but it can occasionally lead to your death in full MF gear if you get a nasty elite pack to spawn. (Or rarely, 2 elite packs. *shudder*)

Still, even with the occasional rare death, I prefer the Ancient Pathway goblin. More drops, and double the chance at ilvl 63. Granted, I'm biased because I can teleport over the stairs with Teleport as a Wizard, so the runs take < 20-30 seconds usually.

I run this one my hardcore barb. Safest and fastest a1 area imo, since a2 goblin and/or alcarus is scary

try starting the quest on last act 1 quest and make sure you dont get any other check point before getting the warriors rest one.
