Another ban wave coming soon?

Looking at the state of things, Patch 2.1 will most likely get released on August 26th with the first season beginning a week later. With that in mind we may be looking at a possible ban wave coming this week or the next. Another possibility is it being delayed for a week or two depending on the number of people getting banned, as to not overload support services. The release of UEE and 2.1 will surly raise support times and I'm sure Blizzard wouldn't want to make it worse.

of course I'm hoping Blizzard just gives up as the only people they will end up catching are the 24/7 folks, the less active botters will still be playing seasons no matter what Blizzard does. Anyways what do you guys think, do you agree? or have I been smoking too much of the Special K?

A friend of mine works with the Diablo team at Blizzard, banning in D3 is nothing new, solving the problem is not something Blizzard is interested in as these "players" just feed the company. Each month ~20.000 D3 accounts are closed (Global)
Out of these around +95% are full time botters who'll simply buy new accounts as long as these bans doesn't happen too often, both parts win in the end.

The "loot table" is so messed up you almost have to bot to get items without playing 4hrs a day.

Everyone bots for their own reasons, for instance I like to farm paragon points. To some this is a waste of time, to others it's fun.
