    Thoughts on Banning for RoS?

Well since now diablo has essentially become a single player farm game (can't trade items/gold)

and there really isn't a competitive advantage to anything or tournies

What are the chances blizzard will still be handing out ban hammers for botting or other related exploits? Do you guys think it's safer now than before to use an exploit or bot?

    Thoughts?

I've used a few scripts most nights and a lot of exploits are made popular especially by streamers. I don't think there's a high risk since the ah is down now but people also thought PQR was safe until blizzard did their massive wave. Its simple though, if you're worried then don't do it.

The chances are as high as they've ever been. They removed the AH and some trading however, people still want a competitive edge on levels, gear etc. If you exploit that, you will get banned. There is no "WELL I DIDN'T EXPLOIT THAT MUCH" rule. If you do it, even a little, EXPECT to be banned and dont be surprised when it happens.

Also, when ladders will be implemented. There will be a competitive aspect again.

I do not have much hope on the ladders. Earning additional Paragons should of been the competition. Levels were like paragon levels in classic vanilla of d2. There were separate leader boards for classes etc.

Since Gear gives you a clear advantage in ROS. The variables on gear were not as high as they were in d2. Everyone almost used the same type of gear to an extent.

You wont be able to compete unless you have a shard of hate / thunderfury.

http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/diab...o-here-75.html (Diablo 3 Ban Reports Go Here)

i havnt seen anyone saying theyve been banned for a long time.

people are botting/exploiting on stream and not getting banned, even after people report them.

    so...

Just because the game is not exactly in a competitive state means that Blizzard is okay with their games being exploited/botted/etc. Although, if they ban for exploits, they will probably have to ban like 60% of the community for exploiting at one point. I'm guessing they will ban for bots/maphacks and that's about it.

Not too sure on UI mods like Turbohud.

Turbohud is undetectable unless you stream it lol, they can only detect it if they try detect its signature which I doubt they will bother doing.
