Act I - Cemetary of the Forsaken
-> Jar of Souls. TP after you start the event. Wait 1 min. TP back in, click jar.
-> something about "bones" bounty
Act II - Howling Plateu -> A Miner's Gold. Run around while the event is happening.

Honestly, you say you don't need any good gear but you are getting hit all the time meaning any squishy toon would die.
Not to mention that the rewards after waiting for the events to finish are lackluster at best.

You dont really need any good gear, every class has some kind of speed skill which makes this extremely easy to do. I have seen people with 1-2M toughness with around 200k dps and almost no life do these quests with no issue at all. As long as you stay ahead of the enemy, also you can die a few times, it doesn't really matter. You get the quests 20% of the time, sometimes you can get them both at the same time giving you up to 45M exp. It's up to you if you want to do it or not, I am here to inform you something like this exists and its your choice if you want to do it or not.

Oh trust me, all those were gotten the honest way, we were doing Manglemaw 12-16 hours a day on Torment 6 party of 4. We are now doing Ghom, everything else is useless if you ask me.

Too bad they removed Manglemaw, Ghom is currently a bit better, but no gems drop at all, and I can't take him on Torment 6 so I am stuck at torment 4.

Also, those crafting mats are basically useless, who needs shields any way, especially on Softcore
