As we all know, there are numerous changes and reform contents in the Reaper of Souls, one of the most attractive factors is the new difficulties and Paragon System 2.0! According to the latest news, Blizzard has set up the new difficulty system and new account bound to Paragon 2.0.
Difficulty System:
There are five difficulties scaling in the Reaper of Souls, such as Normal, Hard, Expert, Master and Torment. As usually, the higher difficulty levels has more powerful monster and potential rewards waiting for you. However, the difficulty mode has locked unless you arrived at the requirement level. Meanwhile, the Monster Power has been removed in this beta. When you arrived at Level 70, you can unlock the TORMENT which is divided into six difficulties level you can choose. Of course, different difficulty mode has different reward bonus.
NORMAL: None Bonus
HARD: 75% Extra Gold/XP Bonus
EXPERT: 100% Extra Gold/XP Bonus, Double Bounties Rewards
MASTER: 200% Extra Gold/XP Bonus, Double Bounties Rewards, Will Drop Legendary Recipes
TORMENT: 300% Extra Gold/XP Bonus, Double Bounties Rewards, Will Drop Legendary Recipes, 250% Drop Legendary Recipes Bonus
Paragon System 2.0
We have heard details about Diablo 3 Paragon System 2.0 in multiple interviews for a long time. In this friend and family beta, traditional paragon reward has been removed and new Paragon system would bring in the paragon points. These points are distributed to all characters on your account. With the growth of paragon level, players can change the build gradually.
This pie chart illustrates the currently paragon system total experience. While, there are big fans from Diablo3fans Community shown the new experience requirement chart for Paragon 2.0 system about 1-2000 levels. We can clearly notice the experience requirement before Level 100 has big different. As for now, there are four properties we can improve through paragon level such as Core, Offensive, Defensive, Utility.
