I never launch the Old Version, I directly launch the "New" Version. I guess if you launch old before it breaks thinks (maybe)

1. CACHE Folder is created once you runned first time.
2. The MFIL File get downloaded on first start too. In Generally I don't have it.

Double Check the Base File :
1.25 GB (1,348,305,393 Bytes) (Original Size)
1.25 GB (1,348,308,992 Bytes) (on HDD)


PS: You are using Windows or Mac?

Most likely you forgot the shortcut, not only add -launch but add "-launch OnlineService.PTR=true"

this way you try to log to the ptr/beta location, otherwise it might try and update from the live server and push old updates into your folder. That is why you get corrupted files

also rename the launcher as it does not add anything.

So i install just like guide ( Guide a little confusing ).

I patched and now it says cant validate core files.

Cant u make a video to show how to install properly?

So you need to launch old version before putting other files in and trying to patch it?

No - this is only the way to run D3 in the old version. If you want to run D3 in newer version - you have to replace D3-exe/ battle-dll and put the updates in the correct folders:
"Data_D3\PC\MPQs\base"
"Data_D3\PC\MPQs\enUS"
"Data_D3\PC\MPQs\Win"

No - it's ok. PTR isn't open yet. RoS is still in alpha. Only few people have license key to play it now.

I've redid the process at least 4x, only launched original version 1x. I will double check the sizes again later, and im using Windows.
Maybe it acts different cause I had the beta blizzard launcher installed already/someplace else?

I'm smarter then that , and I confirmed all that in previous post as well. I've attempted both methods.
