Diablo 3 - Reaper of Souls: Friends and Family Beta on its way!

Seems like Blizzard will be releasing their Friends and Family beta to people outside their friends and families for the first time.
If you are not part of the Blizzard "community" nor a well-known streamer you have next to no chance of getting into the F&F beta.

Wonder how they picked their "3000". I was invited but I've barely played d3 beyond the first month, and even then i didn't play much so i definitely ain't among their most active d3 players. However i did participate in the Annual pass program, b.net client beta and i've been a long time wow subscriber. Nor am i much of a community member beyond what i play ingame (no streams, website or forum dedication)

(btw, anyone claiming to sell keys are lying, all "random invites" where by direct account activation, as the d3 beta was for opt-ins. Im guessing press and streamers might get keys thou)

Edit: Tell me how i can see what links are used by the b.net client and i can verify the above posters links or provide new valid ones

As soon as I can confirm my Guide I will release it. Right now I get "Validation failed". Was able to launch RoS 1 Times then Validation error now.


BTW: That are not the ROS FIles I guess. That are the Old Beta I guess (?)

Reaper of Souls only get shown because Beta_Launcher (he know the File Name) if you Rename Launcher you see D3 Logo, if you Rename Launcher it show BETA Again (ROS)

WOW Beta -> "You currently have no Version of Game XX Installed"

The version of the game is 2.0.0.18962

So we need to find Files from Version 18962. In order to get it work.

I tried 18962 but no lock. Because with the 20X Files he can't verify Files. Also I try to Understand why he Download ALL the Old Files =/

I got all the files, but once i start the client (command line with launch option), it still says i require updates (Diablo 3 application is version 20493, so yea i patched it)
did all on OSX, might try the windows version later, but...work

the new files are only patches to the previous version, thats why it requires them all
