Recovered Account, how much is this worth?

So a friend of mine got his battle.net hacked 2 months ago and never bothered to recover it until now. Looks like someone had been botting his diablo account 24/7 for these 2 months. As neither of us are Diablo players we have no idea how much his account is worth?

Is it possible to sell diablo accounts?
If so could someone tell us how much this one would be worth? it has 20 million gold as well, idk if that is a lot?

Depends what he is willing to give, I wouldnt pay more than 5 USD unless he can provide Copy of ID, SQ/A etc etc.. basically, everything

And would he have to sell the whole battle.net account I presume? The Diablo account couldn't be sold seperately?

I guess that depends on how much you care for the game, and the account your using. I've been botting on my only battle.net account for a while and really couldn't care less what happens to it, so botting in the mean time has helped make a little cash that I consider a form of refund. Haven't come across much so far, about £20 worth total from gold + items, but it doesn't require much work on my end, so why not?
