Changing DB3 ccount from US to EU

been looking to buy a already leveled good paragon account but all the best seem to be US or all the EU are members with low rep i seen that people say you can play an account on both so getting to my noob question..

if i buy a us DB3 account can i play it on EU servers or is there something i have to do? to get it to work there eg contact battlenet? sorry if its a stupid question but would rather no b4 i buy that after cheers for any help.
