Unfortunately the patch wont come out just yet. I say unfortunately because there seems to be some fun changes even after all the speculations of datamined information and statements. I'm not going into the discussion of how the patch is going to be a nerf or a buff, rather I want to point out what is to come.

Patch 1.0.5 Sneak Peek
Defensive Skill Changes
Basically making us stronger and not forcing us to have defensive skills. Not quite sure how that would work out, and quite frankly, it's a boring change. I apologize for anyone that loves trying out new specc and all, but honestly, this change is just making us have to find a new way to play, or not.
New Event: Infernal Machine
This sounds interesting. A Infernal Machine that gives us the chance to fight "uber" versions of bosses. What I found most interesting is the choice of the word "uber". Because there was once this mod for D2 that was called Uberquest and as a twist, there was a machine spawning monsters. You've probably guessed it, it was called the Infernal Machine. Is this a coincidence? A tribute? Or are they just that lazy? I'll probably never find out.

New System: Monster Power
As Blizzard states, it's just like the old “Players X” command in D2. Letting you set the difficulties to how it would have been if there were X players in a party.
The new event and the new system combined, really makes me wonder if they are just plain lazy. Or did they just realize that D2 had alot of the fun that kept people playing and wanting more so they try to put some of it into D3?
Again, only Blizzard truly know what they are thinking. But I cant stress enough that this seems like a really promising patch.
