Beginners Guide to Selling an Account

I am interested in selling my d3 europe softcore account. Can some pro's here give some advice on how best to do it ?

First of all, don't link your battletag, since blizz can track it and ban your account for selling it...

Why not ? I was going to use the in game mechanics of gold transfer or the real money auction house . Should be ok right ?
