New diablo 3 account: 8 hours later: hacked?

I made my fourth account tonight and got to level 15 and decided to call it quits for the day at least..

A hour ago I looked up at my 3rd account and I noticed that my new account I just made logged on

Instantly I log in to kick him them off and proceed to change my password.. Nothing came up missing

and no one was in my recent played list. I'm pretty sure it would have if I gave them more time =/

So my fourth account email created today, battle.net account created today. I have not joined ANY public game.

IT and I have no clue what I did to allow my account to be breached. I have 4 LOADED accounts that this hasn't happened to =/ (all on same computer)


I don't know how to proceed from here LOL.. I guess its safe now? Maybe not.

Stating the obvious, scan your computer.

Are you following the basic rules for security your account such as not using the same password for your email / all your accs / forums, using mayus+minus+numbers, scanning your pc for keyloggers/trojans, etc?

If you had just recently logged off of it, it's *possible* it was just a fluke, i.e. the account showing as logged in to others for a short while after logging out. This is a common occurrance in some of Blizzard's other games.

That's weird cause if your accounts logged in from a different IP, the account should of have gotten locked till you reactivate it back from your email.

When I added my account on my main.. I mistyped the number so I had some...

RANDOM GUY ON MY FRIENDS LIST WITH THE SAME NAME

I still chuckle thinkin' about it.

I'm back to thinking people who get haxxored are just dumbzorz.
