AH Spreadsheet (GAH & RMAH) - OpenOffice + GoogleDocs

Someone on Demonbuddy IRC asked me to make him a spreadsheet for Auction House and he was satisfied with it so why not release it for the public aswell then?

3 tabs:
- Gold AH
- Real Money AH
- Settings

Settings page only has settings for Money Made/Profit highlighting atm (Minimum profit or Money Made to highlight it).
Change it to value of your liking, or set it absurdly high to "disable" it.

I had that in mind when I started making it, how compatible is G-Docs with things like OpenOffice or Excel?

EDIT: Oh it worked straight away :O Now just to figure out how to share it properly.
You can just DL it from that link and import it to your own Google Docs if you want for now.

The Item Type and Rarity have drop down menus on OpenOffice version but they seem to go away on GDocs.

Basicly Rarity gets colored by the.. Rarity! So type Magic/Rare/Set/Legendary in Rare and it will show it in right color.

- Only calculates profit/money received if item has been set as sold

Well mate I understand you are trying to be usefull, but providing a basic spreadsheet that anyone could do in 5m without have any knowledge of spreadsheets it's not great "help".

If you wish to help others and get some merit from it three things you could do with such kind of list.

1st) Simplify the User Life by adding drop box in the cells for Items types, rarity, etc all fixed information. So people don't type it just search/select for each entry.

2nd) Items have different stats so you sell a item for a value doesn't mean that you sell other with same name for same value, however still there is a relationship, A chart with the top sellers items would be great. The goal it's to find the Hottest items.

3rd) A empty list it's not really a big information. If people decide to share a "public" list on google docs, that really could help others with all collected information. Of course this is asking too much sometimes, but people that were willing to provide their "data" in such list, could simplify join group or just paste all information in a second file, that you time by time copy paste for the official list. (to protect people just destroy the data from the official list).

if its not great help for you, dont use it. he contributed to the community. according to you, he said at least 4 people here 5 minutes time. If you dont like it, make your own, share it, and see if people are grateful. otherwise, dont stifle other peoples creations because you dont find it personally "great help".

And if it is so easy to make then why was I asked by others to make it in the first place? I never did it for myself, although I am using it now aswell.
Not everyone has extended knowledge of Excel or any other similiar program.

The "Note" field is there for you for that exact purpose of making notes yourself what the item was that you sold.
There are billions of stat combinations and making a huge list of every possible combination is just not viable.

And why would I want to share with people what I'm profiting of? It would instantly crash my RMAH market if I told everyone what I'm making money out of.
Well who am I kidding, RMAH has crashed already and is dying..

This is simply for people to keep track of their AH sales outside the game, if you dont like it then you dont have to use it.

And looking at your posts, you are just here to leech content, atleast I am doing my best to contribute and I am glad it has been of use to atleast a few people.
