Datamined from the 1.0.3 patch, a big dps loss for most of us :/

The attack speed affix has been reduced significantly on all items. The following list outlines all of the previous values and new values for each affix level. This should give you a rough idea of how much IAS you should expect to lose.
Weapons
Haste 1: Old: (2-3%) New: (2%)
Haste 2: Old: (4-5%) New: (2%)
Haste 3: Old: (6-7%) New: (2-3%)
Haste 4: Old: (8-9%) New: (2-3%)
Haste 5: Old: (10-11%) New: (3-4%)
Haste 6: Old: (12-13%) New: (3-4%)
Haste 7: Old: (14-15%) New: (5%)
Haste 8: Old: (16-17%) New: (6-7%)
Haste 9: Old: (18-19%) New: (8-9%)
Haste 10: Old: (20-25%) New: (10-11%)
Other Types (Rings, Amulet, Gloves, Legendaries)

yeah just saw this as well such a shame, people who spent shitloads on 25% IAS stuff are gonna QQ so hard. i have some cheapish 25% IAS daggers i spent some millions on so its not that big a deal.

time to cash in if i was everyone else with good 25% IAS gear, throw it on RMAH now and sell it to idiots that dont know about the change.

This will be huge for weapons with attack speed. Because the attack speed increase is factored into the total dps calculation.

Sell now if you have weapons with attack speed.

So basically its worth selling most IAS stuff from my DH and change em to DEx and crit damage ? (since SS benefits alot) or am i wrong?

yep go crit chance and dmg now.

I've already been stacking int and buying weapons without IAS (same dps, but good because of pure dmg not IAS).
Anyone know if this change affects already existing items?

Items with 'increases attackspeed by' -might- remain unaffected by the change, and although useless...some players don't know this. *grin*
Maybe they'll skip over items that don't usually have IAS, bracers etc

Haste 6: Old: (12-13%) New: (5-6%)
Haste 7: Old: (14-15%) New: (6-7%)
Haste 8: Old: (16-17%) New: (8-9%)

Maybe buying up the 9%, 7% rings etc now will pay off. If the 'new' numbers mean it can't go below that.
This will see weapons that are 1k+ without IAS go up in value, as many feel the need to upgrade their now inferior IAS weapons.

Sure, they changes the affix so all items, already dropped and the new ones are affected

Anyway, even with the nerf i think we can't run with 0% atkspd, we'll need some for sure, the game is unplayable as ranged dps if you try to solo/kite something without it imo
