so there's this error now that u get if u spam resume and logout like 34 times u spam u get this shit and u have to wait like 1`2 mins without game play, so i think its that how they want to nerf whole farming business so we have to wont habve any gold and use real money and buy stuff from Auction House

thing is its not even botting, lets say u dont bot but u got to AH to buy something then u got to collect it from stash and u repeat it 3 times on 3 items u bought u get that error and u cant play and you're not even a botter. also i noticed millions of auctions listed right after server went up so i think items belong to blizzard and not what they are doing nobody can farm and make gold or farm for items so ppl will start buying items for real money

and you can dump all your gear from the completed tab to your stash in 1 session.

botters or not, game creation limits are +10 for act farming.and big negative to immortal users relying on instantquit gold farming to make gph worth it.

Also, I doubt it because people are getting this error by surfing the AH as well. Heard of people who logged in, checked their AH, tried to hit "start game" and got the error...

We've recently added a limit to the number of games a player can create within a certain amount of time. Players who hit this limit will see the error: "Input limit reached. Please wait to perform more actions." After receiving this error, you will need to wait approximately 10 to 15 minutes before creating any additional games.

This change was made to help reduce server strain and improve overall game stability, and we'll continue to monitor the situation and make additional improvements as necessary. We're currently working to find a solution that allows most players who are playing normally to create games without encountering this error, but will still limit some of the more extreme cases of rapid game creation. We appreciate your patience as we make these adjustments.

Has anyone tried being invited to an existing game? I wonder if it adds to your limit.
If not, it could work to sell invites to those already in a game but nearing the limit. Can you get into a game if you're in the menu screen and someone invites you? after you've used up your limit.

I'd test this myself immediately, but I've got a pizza to go pick up. If I run into the limit I'll try getting around it somehow and get back to you fine people.
Things I'd like to check:
1*getting invited,
2*changing realm to us/EU/etc,
3*logging off after a set number of logins may reset the counter if you haven't gone over it (this is Blizzard here, remember the 'rollback your clock to cancel auctions' thing. They might have been sloppy again.),
4*looking for changes to files on your pc in the D3 folder, I expect the count is serverside...but it's good to check.
5*dying enough times and then leave the game while dead
6*logging in with different characters, the counter could be character specific (not much chance, but I'm an optimist)
7*making a private petition saying your account is bugged and the limit doesn't expire like it should. hope they disable it just for you (slim chance)
8*change your language/temporarily move files in d3 folder to different location so it has to redownload, then cancel and put them back.
9*when you login, don't loot -anything- If they've been considerate, they've made an exception so players can login to get stuff out of stash and use the auction.
10*completing a quest or an act could reset it, or lower the count.
11*Make games back to back until you meet the limit to get the number, then keep doing it and gradually increase the time between game creation until you're sustainably able to not hit the limit.
12* switch to RMAH/gold currency before starting a new game and keep switching (pays to test -nearly everything-)
13* change difficulties, start hell game, leave, enter public hell game, start inferno game and see if this resets the count if you were nearing the end of it.
15*Try farming inferno for x times, where x is 1 less than the limit then leave and try to do the same for hell.


If you try any of these thoroughly, post saying what you tried and use one of the numbers so there's little overlap.
It's a longshot, but it's worth probing for cracks in the ice.

This is more of a server stress thing than anything. Various blue posts hint that it was implemented to reduce server stress and the limit was being reached too fast. So they took off this limit but be ready for it to come back. Did you really thing the servers would be able to handle millions of accounts joining and exiting every min 3 seconds farming? Wheres the REALM DOWN!? Reducing stress and reducing low game time farming which blizz from day one has been straying away from.
