I noticed this

A partial initial lineup for PlayStation 4 includes first-party games from Guerilla Games (Killzone: Shadow Fall), Sucker Punch (inFamous Second Son), Evolution Studios (Driveclub), and Japan Studio (Knack), as well as titles from our partners such as Activision/Bungie (Destiny), Blizzard Entertainment (Diablo III), Capcom (Deep Down), and Ubisoft (Watch_Dogs).

It's interesting to see this, and to note that back in beta some UI elements pointed to think that Blizzard was planning to release diablo 3 on the Xbox. The elements were named after this console, like "game_dialog_backgroundScreenConsole.game_xbox_dialog_backgroundScreen". Maybe this was the original plan..

I think they always had plans to release a console version and the Xbox was a logical choice at the time. They never did because they always said it NEEDED to feel like the PC version, they didn't want a stripped down console version. Also in the announcement above I think the 4-player together aspect was also required for a console version. Why would someone want to play on their couch by themselves in a sub-par version when they could be playing on a PC.

There had to be at the very least equal reasoning to play the console version or they wouldn't do it. I have no doubt that Sony is paying money to them to get it as well.

I think they will be releasing it for ps3/4 & 360 @ Least

they chose to only announce the first two because its a Sony event

There will be RMAH I'm sure there will be, but the RMAH's wont be merged thats 100% for sure.

Paypal is taking a cut in PC clients and PS3 Network will take a cut with the consoles. Can't see any other way around :-)

“It’s so much fun,” Joshua Mosqueira, the game’s lead designer, said when I asked how the couch co-op played. “On a big couch, with four of your friends, drinking beers, it’s almost like a party atmosphere. There was some question about the offline play of the game, something that’s impossible in the PC version of Diablo 3. It was confirmed to me that the game will be playable offline on the PlayStation 3.

Which leads to some other changes, namely the removal of the real money auction house. “The ecosystems on the PC and console are very different,” Mosqueira explained. “There were some technical reasons we had to go with offline, but again once you have an offline experience, even if we wanted to bring in the auction house, it just becomes problematic. How do you validate? How do you make sure there is no duping or any of that stuff?”
