DH Advice

I'm probably going to get into trouble or just flamed for this, but I seem to be failing pretty badly on my DH. I can barely get up to 27.5k dps, and well, I just fail. Any tips that don't involve requiring millions of gold to succeed? Thanks.

Buy rings with ~70 dex and 15 attack speed for 25k each
buy an amulet with 115dex and 15 attack speed for 35k
buy boots with 200+dex, preferably with movement speed
buy gloves with dex, attack speed, crit chance, crit dmg, (most expensive)
buy a good weapon, preferably a bow with a socket.

You'll want a nice quiver too if possible. Dex is the most important stat along with the IAS (increase attack speed). You can pick one up pretty cheap for a 120 Dex+ and 12 IAS+ quiver. Just camp Auction House for a bit. You'll find a few good deals.

A white number of 1000 dps bow with a good quiver will get you some major dps with sharp shooter for sure.
Focus on attack speed 14%+, dex 120+, critical hit damage and weapon damage and the socket is good for the critical gem.
Don't get junk stats, they have some purple 2 handed x-bows right now on AH for 600-800k at lvl 60 with weapon dmg +35%.
