2 Rifts for 1 rift price

So the bug was fixed some time ago, but it seems like it's back now.
You can get 2 rifts for only 1 rift's price.

1. You need to complete your first rift, and then close it when you are done.
2. After that you need to watch the timer, at some point around 0-1 sec left until portal ends, the rift will change from "the rift name" to "nephalem rift", and you click on it at that point.
3. You will be in a rift with an invisible kill meter, the boss will spawn after you have reached 100% (which you can't see).

When you complete this rift, start a new game.

Why would you want to do this?
Because if you are like me and low on rift key stones or simply hate farming them, then you can spend more time doing Rift's instead of bounties.

i got it in 1 of 5 times now, but i think with practise you can make it work more often
i clicked on the portal after the time on screen disappeared and right before the portal closed

if you got it and you cleared the free-rift you have to restart game
otherwise, if you open a new rift, you will get in the free-rift again, but all mobs you killed are gone, inlcuding the boss

but i got an correction*

if some1 opens the rift after the second rift was cleared (mobs) - there are no monsters - BUT a BOSS.
you cant see the boss on map - you have to search him.
after killing this boss nothing happens (but you get LOOOOT) - the rift cant be closed and now it is completely empty.

Really? Because this was posted a lot when the expansion first launched and I thought it was pretty much common knowledge.

Granted it used to be a lot easier, but its the exact same exploit as before.

The fact that (even rift) shrines persist through the entire game (specifically, in ubers, too) was in "Elite" as well: I believe it. This has definitely been around since Rifts were implemented.

its no repost. it got fixed and according to the op its available again since patch 2.0.5.

if its the same shit as before it's important u dont click according to the seconds running down. u need to pay attention and click at the very moment the rift changes its name, just like the op said.

you've like 0.5 seconds for clicking, i think 1.5 seconds after the 0 hits the screen.

i couldnt find the boss in the 3rd rift
where is it? not in the same spot it was in the 2nd rift

What Rift shrines persist through the whole game? never saw any post to this.
If you mean the 1hr shrine buff from those act2 gloves, it was nerfed and it never affected RIFT shrines... Or else provide better info

Yeah, they fixed it, but now it's in again. Anyway I'm able to get free rifts quite often, and it's great.

Thanks for telling us this works again! I was sure that since you have to channel the opening it wont work. ( used to be instant ) +rep.
