I figured things out and everything is working perfectly.

HOWEVER, it seems that, the moment my paragon level increases, I start to lose more health than gaining it. Despite everything remaining the same, fully repaired, I need a multitude of gems to reach the same balance. Is anyone else having this issue?

Once you reach a paragon level, things will drastically change. I've found sometimes that even just changing 1 str / armour point on the spread sheet makes it much better/worse. The formula is very picky, because of how indepth the %'s are. The best thing you can do it once you paragon level, update the stats, and if things are super crazy try taking off 1 peice. Just keep taking off a peice or two until you can get things balanced, or add gems etc.
