[AFK] Kill Streaking Exp from Nightmare/Normal while afk.

im going to try and boost my thorns to 7000 and lps up to 2400 and do this on inferno for better xp

inferno will not yield any more exp that hell will. the spawned mobs do not give exp themselves. and the kill streak bonus applies the same in ALL difficulties

also my results only netted about 4-5k XP per minute from the kill streak, 838 mobs over 35 minutes, kill streak was 171,000 XP = 4800 XP per minute

even with XP gear you will only gain about 7k XP per minute

the towers spawn 3 mobs 5 times per minute, 2 towers will give you 30 mobs per minute, and assuming your getting 250 XP from gear per kill = 7000 XP per minute


at best with an XP gem your looking at 15k per minute or about a million XP per hour

overall its just not worth it other than the fact that it is AFK

on Hell difficulty i sat between two towers and was making maybe 100,000 xp per hour

At that rate you only need to idle for 104,544 hours to reach paragon level 100

What do you think will happen first, ban or you reach paragon level 100 through idling?

Just found a pair, but I didn't get any kill streaks from them, let alone exp. I have 51% bonus exp from a radiant star ruby in helm + Leoric's Signet. I guess I need to get some Monster Kill +EXP items? It still doesn't explain why I don't get kill streaks.

Usually 6 spiders attacking me plus one skeletal archer on the side
About 2400 thorns and 800 life per second regen unbuffed

you have to much thorns and are killing them too fast. about 1000 thorns is perfect on hell. you kill the spiders fast enough where you dont get a huge mob. but slow enough that there is almost always at least 1 spider to hit you.

1 skelly archer has just enough delay to cause the kill streak to end between attacks as the streak ends after only a second or two of not being hit or not hitting an enemy

I dont know why you say that cause im only able to get xp from the spawned mobs.
Im not getting streak bonus. havent been able to dial that in yet

You could get som spirit generating gear and the cast some random spell every 5min

Bad news, I plotted some sample values and the plot of Exp over killed monsters seems to be linear and not exponential as I was hoping

and for the others yes its maybe not so high EXP rates because it is linear but its free afk exp

Considering that is a REALLY LONG TIME. A ban.

do you think you will get banned? its hard to tell if you are using just a simple macro to rebuff yourself or something,
you are not using a bot or something just chilling arround at some mobs )

ps: the exp is not THAT high so i think no one will also notice this

Under the assumption my plot is nearly correct, it would take about 103 days nonstop streaking to achive paragon level 100, when using 3 Towers. That means achieving a killingstreak of about 6680127 monsters.

I did. Took my 5-6 attempts to find such a constellation. But nevertheless my streak always got canceld after a few hunderts, althought I had two archers attacking me as well. I used a DH.

Did u actually see the kill streak sign?
I get EXP but I never see the popup saying the streak kills
