You need 5 stacks before a rare is 100%. Get 5 stacks, then do this trick (or do this to get 5NV faster as well)

i'd bet not because of this.


The idea is to kill 2-3 champs at the same time, monks have an easy way of doing this with their skill. So any aoe and a bit luck/timing for other classes and it should be possible.

It seemed to work for my DH yesterday using evasive fire, killed 3 champs, got 3 NV and 3 times the loot.

How exactly do you do this with a Demon Hunter? I have gone through all of Act 1 killing the champs with Evasive Fire (Covering Fire rune) and I still only got 1 buff and only 1 set of loot.

It definitely needs to be instant damage that kills them all at once (no damage over time). I have been experimenting with my barb using skills like cleave and overpower. Can't confirm they work yet but technically they should...

Has this been hotfixed on US? It work fine in the morning and we just run act1 and tried this on three different packs and it did not work for some reason :/

Nope, EU is NOT hotfixed at all, still getting around 4-6 rares per pack atm.
