[AFK] Gold Farming!

In nightmare I get life back on kill, but in hell this does not work. Anyone have the same problem or know why this is?
In hell, only way I get life back for killing is if I attack it. I've tried only having item based reflect damage as well as only skill based reflect and still no life back.

depend how much dmg u get, but try to find a weapon with high get life on kill

as DH, when you stand on max range of the pillar, so it still spawn those bugs, ferrets will not attack it. Another 10% GF and you dont have to check your char and collect gold every now and then (tested on single pillar)

EDIT: The blue tower DOES NOT give any extra gold compare with others. After 1 hour of farming I got around 100k from 2 blue towers (include the gold from the sold blue & yellow items)

thank you so much! that really makes it a lot easier to gear manage, especially since i might try and see if I can get this going in inferno lol.

Bit the bullet and just bought a 2k thorns 19 GF shield, making this setup super easy.

My current setup is 4k thorns, 2k life on kill, 200 GF. (Wizard with Blur, no other important skills)

Easily done as barb.

using a script to press warcry every minute w/ inspiring presence/tough as nails/nerves of steel passives

stats:
162% gold find
600 res all(warcry 50%)
19k hp
7,000 thorns damag
300 life per second

thorns still works even when all my gear is red/broken and can easily stay alive w/ just inspiring presence regen.

EDIT: Also like to point out that if you TP to town and sit there for ~5 mins (dono exact timing) and then port back in, all the white items will disappear and blue/yellow/legendaries will stay on the ground for easy looting.

Doesn't work, i stood outside in town for more than 10 mins and all the white trash was still there.

Not finding a viable way with DH on hell yet. 1800+200+200 life on kill. 6800 thorns. 21k hp Might need to bump it up even more. Im not sure =\

they are rare and it's probably more hassle finding them than it's worth...especially considering what I said above about the gold drops tailing off due to the other loot cluttering the floor. I wouldn't bother looking for two and just stop at the first one you see and setup shop there.

Actually, there's been people discussing diminishing returns on loot. You could simply be further supporting it.

Does it start dropping less gold once the floor is full or is it my idea?
Btw, i'm doing it on hell right now on my barb with around 4k thorns, and also i've got some item that doesn't break, so you can sleep through it

I am not sure if this is good place to post this.. but since there is gold farm.. i also found that you get sweet xp from it.. i have lvl 19 character with 90 bonus xp/kill on normal there killing with thorns.. so basically it can also be used as AFK XP.
It might be slow, but its still AFK

I'm not sure how exactly it works, But in one game I went afk for to long and came back and my hero was dead and it took awhile to run back (since checkpoint wasn't saved for some reason and map was un explored).

Before I released, All the gold/white/grey items were still there, After I got back there was about 5 yellows/30 blues/1 legendary and all the gold/white items had disappeared.

legendary i got was a fairly nice rolled String of Ears which is probably worth about 4mil+ and considering there are other nice legendaries at this level (justice lantern etc.) I'd say its worth it to find a way to re-create this.

But anyway, I've tried multiple methods including tping to town but the de spawn timer seems to be random, I've had times when everything de spawned at 5mins, and other times where it took 10+minutes its really weird. I also tried killing myself and running back as well as waiting but I didn't have any luck in getting ANYTHING to de spawn.

If anyone has some more info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Did it for 7 hours nonstop.
Because of durability I died somewhere after 4 hours I guess. (was sleeping the whole time so I'm not sure lol)

Hell difficulty with 2 orange tower

btw went to town waited 11min went back and all white items despawned.

Did you have a script to go to vendor and sell collected items? How do you make such script?
