Is it me or this guy has been nerfed to oblivion? not even a single blue drop now.

I swear he dropped a couple blues the first time and then after that he continually dropped gold / tomes. I wonder if there is some type of drop timer on bosses? Maybe I am completely flaking here, but that's what I thought I saw.

INFERNO ONLY

In this guide I will show you what I use to farm Iskatu on the first part of Act IV for easy gold and items.

*NOTICE*
This may require some decent gear I have around 54k DPS as full glass cannon and I can do this fine.

Recommended Talents: Wizard - Game Guide - Diablo III
Temporal Flux, Glass Cannon, Archon, Magic Weapon, and Familiar are not optional but you can do without the other talents.

Energy Armor with Pinpoint Barrier rune is nice for the extra crit but is not necessary.

Archon is the key to this because you gain time as you kill the little spawns that he makes and the right click does massive damage. You will really want to be pumping out the damage because this guy can easily 1 shot you on Inferno so you will always want to be on him so be sure to be looking at your map to see where you should be pointing without actually seeing him.

Start out by going to the start of Act IV

Go talk to Tyreal and go through the portal and walk up and go into this corner of the gate.

I like to start out with my Hydra out and then go into archon and hold down right click and aim towards the middle of the room because that is where the boss will spawn. At around 60% he will teleport back into the middle.

You also get around 1.6K gold for completing the quest after killing him. I have gotten quite a few nice pieces including a 1.2K DPS Crossbow.

This can be easily done in a minute or less depending on your gear.
If you are having troubles with this you should spam your 1 in Archon. Another way you could up your damage is by putting on the Arcane Dynamo passive and using Electrocute with Chain Lightning to build stacks quickly then use Archon at 5 stacks and you will have 75% increased damage. Besides that all I can recommend is better gear.

I just killed him and he dropped nothing. LITERALLY nothing. Nerfed like a mofo!

Isn't that the point to Diablo is to farm for items? Every farm spot is nerfed... They just want us to kill elite packs and die a million times till we have 0 gold left then use the RMAH to buy gear.

oh yes you can, you can even bot that stuff with simple macro, bin there done that. its not 100% when comes to the looting part. But yea had it do evrything except for selling stuff. Can probely be done easly with autoit script aswell heh. Just have to check it evry 15min or so to check loot.

Just tried it. Works a ton faster than with my melee build. I have a little over 87k damage fully buffed and in dps gear.

Just did about 10 runs, 1 or 2 blues per run. Still nerfed as hell... maybe with better MF??
