    At the D3 loading screen I see progress, but the game never starts

    Now I'm trying MadCow [1.1.0.6] since I can't get mooege to work by itself.

    I started MadCow.
    Under the updates tab:
    I choose the repository [https://github.com/mooege/mooege] and validated.
    Then I did an update.
    I set the path to D3 Beta.
    Then I copied the MPQs.
    I choose [Play]

    Then mooege starts and D3 starts and I get to the login screen.
    I create a character and select [Start New Game]. At the loading screen I see the progress activity, but the game never starts.

    How long should it take to load the game on an Intel E8400 (Core2Duo @3Ghz)?
    Is the version of MadCow from the wiki page for MadCow the latest?

    I downloaded all the MPQs from the wiki on the Compiling page and overwrote the ones in the corresponding Madcow folders. But it didn't help.
