delete it... then download it again...
with MPQ's u just download them again and copy them over and overwrite the old ones...
Okay, I give up. After searching far and wide I have no idea how to fix this problem. This is my first time trying to run mooege.
I had some problems with corrupt MPQs from the beta, which I solved by downloading them from here: Compiling - mooege
Woohoo! No more MPQ fatal errors when trying to run mooege. It now says that all files was successfully applied.
But now I get this error:
I couldn't find anyone with a similar error message, so can anyone help? It would be much appreciated.
Guys... MadCow seems to have problems to properly fetch the changelog. Is there an alternative where i can read the changelog for each release?
Thomas - your mpq files seem to be corrupt still...
Download them using MadCow ... there is a button in the help section!
How exactly do I get the MadCow program to work? I've downloaded it from here: https://github.com/Wesko/MadCow
And extracted it to a folder called: Wesko-MadCow-bb86b5f
But how to I actually start the program? I can't seem to find a .exe inside the foler(s)
Please Please Please
import back wetwlly branch.
it has lots of fine features:
- almost all skills working (folder Core\GS\Powers\Implementations\HeroSkills)
- saving of last used skills (SkillSet.cs)
- saving of equipment (well, not everything but several of them) it is frustrating to start NUDE, and it is beautiful to see the hero dressed in selection screen
Thanks....
The newest madcow has a batch file, just click that and itll compile it, then go into bin/debug/ and theres the exe.
Tester, just use the network graph to see all the changes being made(hover over the dots on the graph to see whats been change).
99% of mooege errors come from MPQs, someone with a clean version just update your entire diablo.. you'll get a lot of rep from noobs(well...maybe..only if they remember to click a button).
that branch is on patch 12. While everyone is on patch 13.
IF you are on patch 12, just download my branch and use the Build-win batch file. and then ull have it compiled.
wetwlly link pls
Unfornutaly I updated to patch 13 before knowing that they would not be avaiable anymore....
I can not comeback so I am kindly asking Egris or other developers to import your branch.
I am a developer myself, but after a week of developing for industrial application... my will to use VS2010 is almost none.
I already succesfully compiled your branch and official one, so I can try to port smth, but I am not registered as a mooege developer so my changes will die on my pc.
This is why I ask....

I downloaded the zip file again. Extracted the MadCow folder to desktop and ran compile.bat and let it do it's thing.
But there's no "debug" folder in the bin folder. Just this path:
Wesko-MadCow-bb86b5f\bin\MadCowDebug\MadCowUpdater - There's nothing in those folders. I tried searching the Wesko-MadCow-bb86b5f folder, for a .exe but only found MadCowUpdater.exe, which doesn't work.
