Tried it, but for some reason it doesnt let me get to Character selection. i must be doing something wrong

make sure you add the following to the diablo 3 executable AFTER THE QUOTE

Diablo III.exe" -launch -auroraaddress 127.0.0.1:1345

I did that, the funny thing is, everything was fine on the earlier version Xel posted, could get into the Character screen with no problem, its just when i tried this BH version, it just hangs up on connecting.

Try your old "Asset" folder and "config.ini"

Just tried it, same problems appears. Thanks both of you for helping out though I will try again tomorrow hoping i got some better luck!

Same issue, the D3SHARP throws an exception and hangs at "Retrieving Hero List".

Do you run a 32 bit or a 64 bit system?
