did anyone ever get banned for ONLY using GOLD farming bot?

i'm reading alot of topics about getting banned for using an ah bot. My question is: is a gold bot 'safe' to use? Did anyone ever get banned from this?

if you read through the 253 pages of notares sarkoth bot. it appears that 2 people claim to have been banned.

my personaly opinion is that they got banned doing something else.

now keep in mind. although ALL bots are NOT safe. there is alot you can do to reduce your chance of being detected.
-add randomness (have 3-5 routes)
ex. ROLL A DICES 0-4 depending on what the dice lands on you take that route.

cause to run a script 500 times and to do the same mouse clicks is NEVER SAFE
