I just cannot imagine they would spend time on creating a fully working bot, and then **** off NOW? They still have soo many potential buyers

i really dont see VS doing this. i've been around the bot since it was in beta during D3 beta. the guy is about as legit as it comes.
about the best idea i have on the matter is they decided to change the web host during the patch downtime, he already mentioned it would be a delay in pushing out the next update after the patch so he could have taken this into account and decided it was a good time to get the new webhost up and running to fix all the database problems they have been having as of late.
as far as the twitter, he could have just taken it down because he knew there would be a shit ton of people smashing it asking about the downtime.
(does anyone even know if it really was VS official twitter??" because the facebook one is just some bot user trying to get refferal credits, perhaps the twitter was just another bot user, i didn't know he even had a twitter so it could have been anyones twitter account)
however it is odd that he didn't mention anything about the website being down beforehand.
its either that, or blizzard got him with a cease and desist which i wouldn't be surprised about given how open the bot was to the general public and as far as i am aware VS is based in the US so he is screwed if blizzard come at him.
I just bought 2 licenses yesterday. Was working like a charm. Using Hellbuddy for now, even though it's 1/3 the GPH that Immortal brought in. Time to wait to see if they come back, and if not, I'll just wait for DemonBuddy.
and i think everyone who is in this for selling gold should actually be happy. this has caused a sharp rise in the price of gold today
sold of a heap of stock to my chinese sellers for $9 per.
but you can't farm anymore, that's the problem.
a post from d3scene..

Relax you people. IF you paid attention to the forums on the site you would have seen that he said the site was going to be down for 12 hours today and the next bot update would take at least 12 hours. His server was having issues and the harddrive was failing, so they had to migrate over to another server. #Calmthe****down

Guys i think u got 30€ back so far ... ok maybe unclean you did not but great majority of us got our money back.
I took this bot till demonbuddy come out so ... great timing so far
14 days of pure joy!
Thank you VS you ll be missed
EDIT:
btw they got twiter down etc but what about our belove ownerdcore?
>> The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later. << =)
Blizzard already shut down TNT with a C&D. It was only a matter of time before they shut down VS.
Maybe he folded, maybe he's just switching servers (which is the first thing I thought when I saw the site was down). If it's still down in the morning, we'll know for sure.
Just wait it out till then imo.
Guys also take in consideration that those guys are from Netherlands!
Their time : 4:10 AM ...
A little research goes a long way.
With a whois domain search on them, you can see that their name servers recently changed to CloudFlare. Pretty sure before it was LeaseWeb.
Hoping for the best: they changed hosts.
