Possible to use an old skin?

Hello, I have a question.

I want to change my current off-hand into the older version of Blade of Savagery - Items - World of Warcraft.

If you look at the screenshots, you can see the older version (Blade of Savagery - Screenshots - World of Warcraft), but they changed it in a recent patch.

I'm just wondering if it's still somehow possible to use that older version for a skin swap?

Just checked the item history you probably can change to the old skin with normal WDB armour editing ( dunno about using MES for it never tried). Old display number was b2b1 the new one is 7ab8.

Somebody made a custom edit like that only orange. You could probably find that somewhere on the forums.

Thanks for the reply! And yes I found the thread you were talking about, however that's not exactly what I meant.

I'm wanting to know if it's possible to use the OLD Blade of Savagery skin, not the new one. The old one is so much cooler imo.

Would it be possible to use someone else's itemcache.wdb from before the item was changed and insert the Blade of Savagery skin from that WDB into my current WDB?
