Now mate, sorry to crush your dreams and all that, but:

5/5 gladiator t1 with everything else greens / blues wont help you get anywhere.
1550 2v2 rating is nothing.
Arena is not ONLY around gear, its also your team setup, and you and your partners skills.
This is common knowledge, as you might have mentioned everyone is doing pvp to get EPIX to show how leet skills he got.
