Idk what cr you guys play at but for rbgs, sacred shield is a lot better choice, anyone 2k+ needs to be using it or their pallys will be bottom of the charts every game.

The regular heal from Eternal flame is usually your highest heal in any BG/RBG. The HoT is nearly always right behind it, in actual healing done.
Sacred shield doesn't even come close in numbers like this. If you're the beacon, and you HoT 3+ targets up with EF, and you HoT yourself (50% more healing taken if cast on yourself), you're basically unkillable in a stun duration vs ~2 dps. Sacred shield costs gcd's.


Anyway, I thought this was more about arena than rbg, because a crippled monkey could get 2.2 rbg.

Eternal Flame does around 40-45% of your healing in RBG if played correctly. If you spread it out on everyone in the raid Beacon of Light will get healed so much. Eternal Flame over Sacred Shield in any bracket by farrrrrrrrrr. Sacred Shield is a joke this expansion/season.
