ok so i sort of stumbled across this before, if u look in the auction house cured medium/heavy/light hides are overpriced and selling but if you buy a medium/heavy/light hides which sell cheap then buy some salt from a vendor, find a leatherworker and change them to cured and you sell them on i made a nice little bit of gold of them before

Common knowledge imo, i even think auctioneer can scan this for you, if you get a profit for curing leathers.

This is just playing with the auction house, you can do this with so many items.
