2500g per 80, 20-30 emblem of frost/conquest per 80 in 2 weeks

Hello I have recently had my account compromised. This is not the first time. I have had it taken from key loggers and signing up to fake wow forums that really just want your account info.(I use the same PW for everything).


This latest account issue was different from the rest. When I finally got my stuff back, it came with 2500g, 20 badges of frost and 20 conquest. I believe it was 20 or 30, i do not remember. Also, the person who stole my account deleted the gold and items on two of my 80s, so I recieved 5000g(2500 each in their own mailboxes along with 40 badges each). This did not work for my non 80 characters. Another thing to note is that I only had 1000g when I lost my account.

They did this because the service was taking so long. It took a week for them to respond to the in game ticket and 1-2 weeks to finally give my stuff with the 5k gold and badges. If your server is faster with responses this may not work.

Here is the final guide:

1. Cancel your payment method VIA "I cant use this credit card anymore". Then just have someone you trust in another country or far away log into your account and delete all your things for gold, then spam trade channel and get your account banned for selling gold. They should be far because perhaps blizzard checks IP Addresses to see if you really got hacked. They should also change your password too. Do not change it back until later. If you want, you can even sell the gold for real money, but I obviously did not do that, i am just assuming that is what the thief did when he had my account and that's why I got banned.

2. Your real email should show a message that your password was changed. Do not log in at the owners real location until your account gets banned for selling gold.

3. After all your gold and items are gone and you get the banned email, try loggin into WOW on the real owners computers. You should be temporarily banned for this(I was).

4. Call blizzard and tell them your account was hacked(a lie). They should send an email to change your password and lift the ban. Then log into WOW and submit a GM ticket on all of the characters that had gold and good items. This way you can play on all of them, get a quicker response, and be online all the time ready for them to talk to you.

5. The GM will talk to you and tell you a specialist will give your items back.

6. Then 1-2 weeks later all your items will be there besides the bind on equipts. Also, they may miss some of your other items. The reason they give you 2500g and emblems is for you to catch up.



****IF they dont give you all your items, you cannot accept the 2500g and emblems unless you accept not having those few items back. I lost a ilvl245 helmet and other items in exchange for them closing the ticket. If you want ALL your items back(which you shouldnt) then you shouldnt take any of the bonus stuff and tell them the things you are missing. They gave me all the things that were vital for me but some good stuff was missing that could be replaced.

I know you can probably get 5k gold in a few days but I know that if everyone did that then there would be no gold farmers. Im not the only lazy person on wow when it comes to gold collecting.

I know you worked hard on this, but why would I want to get my account banned on and items deleted on the off chance that blizzard will be nice to me? If you could do some trials this would be interesting to see if there was a 100% success rate. Just my twocents

i believe there is a 100% chance that blizzard will restore your items if you explain your account was stolen, so even if this doesnt work again for others, it will be as if nothing happened but you have lost 2 weeks worth of time. the GMS have been busy lately compared to the past which is why this may be a temporary bonus for them taking so long and i think it only works when your account has its items stripped. they wrote a note about 'helping you catch up' by giving you 2500g and emblems. i have only done this once and that is probably the only time i will unless someone steals my account again.

though GM exploits aren't allowed here, I can confirm this. My friend's account was hacked, and he received 2500g on each of his 80s in compensation for his lost mats.

*sighs* Someone always has to start a war in these threads. It is a nice idea, but I think you got lucky as far as finding an sympathetic GM.

A friend of mine had his items restored last night after about a week, and of his offspec gear was missing .etc, but no bonus, infact I have loaned him half my gold.

I doubt I'll do that. To be blunt. But, nevertheless, regardless of whether this is the wrong section or not, this may work. The GM's I've talked to recently have been quite nice in helping with my accounts.

Maybe worth a shot if you got another account that you don't need. xD

Well in 2 weeks u can get 14days x 2 frost emblems = 28 frost emblems from randoms + 10 emblems from weekly raids = 38 emblems in 2 weeks.

And if u have mining/herbalism u can spend 15min ( or what ever is w8ing time to get group ) by farming and that is more then 2500g in 2 weeks.

And yeah without the risk of loosing all your items, gold...

i dont know which game you guys have been playing, but in the world of war craft i know, they will ALWAYS restore your account and password when you request it IF you call them with all the account information. if you dont have the owner's ID to scan and the secret question, then i would not do this.

when i got hacked they sent me 2x everything i had before, even the thousands of saronite ore the guy farmed on my miner, was funny running around with 2 trinkets that were quest rewards ^^
