[Holy Paladin PvE Guide] 3.1.0

Hi this is my guide for 3.1.0 PvE Healing.

-=WARNING=- Before any flame, read this: I made this guide 90% from my own knowledge/experience, the 10% comes from WoWHead/Thottbot.

This guide contains the following sections:

1.0 Spec

Theres few pretty nice builds out right now, Im gonna link the most used, I highly recommend it. The World of Warcraft Armory

1.1 Stats

In 3.1.0 Blizzard nerfed the regen from mp5 and spirit by 40% which sucks, you can go oom now.

Not much to say about...
Mostly you want to stack crit rating, mp/5, haste rating, intellect and spellpower.[NOTE] Intellect is by far the best stat, because it gives mana/spellpower/mp5/crit, very nice!

1.2 Gear

After you've hitted 80, prob. retri specced, go to AH and grab some blues/epox if you got money (: Rep. rewards are good also, I Recommend farming Argent Crusade rep to exalted, for 2xEpix!

After you got your holy gear, maybe 1400+ spell power and 16k mana unbuffed, start farming HC's, theres pretty nice site where you can see all the HC/Quest drops Kaliban's Class Loot Lists: Paladin

1.3 Abilities

Flash of Light, I recommend using this when your low on mana, everyone says holy pala healing is "FoLx1000" No, sorry.

Holy Light, This will be now your mainspell, spam it. You can have alot mana reduction, from Glyph of Seal of Wisdom, T7 Set Bonus, and from Libram.

Beacon of Light, This is our little AoE heal, only 2 targets tho. This spell is huge manaeater, use it only when whole group is taking dmg.

Holy Shock, Use this when you need to do some burst healing, Holy Shock+FoL rules.

Sacred Shield, When you cast this the player receives buff, and when the player takes dmg, shield will proc, absorbing 500+75% of your SP. Useful on tanks+DPS.

Divine Favor/Plea/Illumination Use those, when you want +healing,mana,or mana. Not much to say.

Those are your mainspells what you will be using.

1.4 Glyphs

I highly recommend these glyphs, Im using them myself

Minor Glyphs

-Glyph of Blessing of Wisdom, Increase the duration of Blessing of Wisdom by 20 min, when casted on yourself.
-Glyph of the Wise, Reduces the mana cost of Seal of Wisdom spell by 50%
-Glyph of Blessing of Kings, Reduces the mana cost of Blessing of Kings, and Greater Blessing of Kings by 50% [Optional] Glyph of Lay on Hands

Major Glyphs

-Glyph of Holy Shock, Reduces the cooldown of Holy Shock by 1 sec. [Optional] Glyph of Flash of Light
-Glyph of Seal of Wisdom, While Seal of Wisdom is active, the cost of your healing spells is reduced by 5%
-Glyph of Holy Light, Your Holy Light grants 10% of its heal amount to up to 5 friendly targets within 8 yards of the initial target.


1.5 Addons

Grid This one I like, best raid layout there.

PallyPower This one keeps everyone blessed, easy.

There's alot more those two are the one what I prefer.

Glyph of Lay on hands is better PvEwise tbh.

Mostly you want to stack mp/5, haste rating, intellect and spellpower.

Crit is still better stat compared to mp5. As an example you should't change item with crit healing int INTO mp5 healing int

Lolcrap, I forget crit wtf? Must add it, and if your using heavy Holy Light spam mp5 comes handy.

No Lay on hands is better since you buff BoK before a boss attempt and lay on hands helps your manaregen during combat, where you need it most.
Also switch the Holy Shock glyph with Flash of Light glyph, since you won't use holy shock on cooldown.

Nvm.. Read your post wrongly lols Yup it is, but if you have high mp5, Holy Light "spam" on tank is very eazmode.

But MP5 is way more expensive to stack compare to critical. (in term of item level stat). I believe theholypaladin site said that it is the best to stat int for holy paladin.

Yup, Intellect gives mp5/crit/mana/spellpower=pwns

3% crit chance > 3% more healing... as a holy paladin u'll most of the time overheal, 3% crit chance = more mana regen

if you go oom as a holy paladin, logout, delete your characted and start playing your DK so you won't go oom

I've cleared naxx10man as a holy pala with 1300sp(double healer raid comp)

too lazy to discuss everything about spells, but keep in mind: avenging's warth + divine plea + divine illumination + holy light spam = 50% regenerated mana in 15seconds + loads of healing

Minor glyphs = waste of 50g for holy paladins
Major Glyphs:
IMPORTANT ONES: Glyph of Holy Light, Glyph of Seal of Wisdom
if you are still doing heroics the 3rd one u should choose is glyph of flash of light
if you are riding get urself Glyph of Divinity for LoH and when u need extra mana cast LoH on urself = 4k mana
