Ive made a little gold in the AH on my realm simply buying things in the middle of the week, usually wensday, and selling them on saturday. Its a easy way to make some quick gold. The other trick I use requires you have a rare drop design, like the rituals of the new moon for inscription. You take a few of whatever it is you make bout 3-4 of whatever it is, in my case the Ritual of the New Moon books, and send them to a few different alts. Then once there are none in the AH you list them for 200%-250% of the normal price on all of your alts and then you can spam trade and say your selling for 1/2 the ah price. Alot of people will buy simply to try and resell them and youve just made a bit of money.

I've filtered through this post and figured I'd toss some of my insights on gold making at the AH.

Simply put, if you're not using auctioneer, you're undercutting yourself from a quick and easy fortune in WoW. Simple things like selling your days worth of farming or questing will make you a 300-400% profit just by using a well scanned auctioneer. Moving on.

Easy profit items for lower level players.
Copper Ore
Light Leather
Medium Leather
Wool Cloth
Linen Cloth
Mageweave Cloth

These are some of the best items to focus on when you're building your bank roll to take off in the AH brokering system. These items are constantly being bought and sold, and if you're consistant you'll be able to find the person who's just DYING to sell them for 1g stack of 20. This is a huge profit for you. Eventually you'll have enough money to buy out a whole AH page of Copper and name the price yourself.

Once your bankroll starts growing in the realm of 500-1000g you can start on higher Priced items. Exampled.

Frozen Orb
Runed Orb
Saronite Ore
Mithril Ore (shocker, but these are always selling high for me)
Any flasks, buy frost wyrm and endless rage on Monday, resell on wed for a profit.
Heavy Borean Leather
Arctic Fur

These are items that you should be hunting for in the Blue/Low Green PCT on your Auctioneer General Search option. These can be mass purchased and resold constantly at the average market value, no tricks here, just a constant profit.

Eventually you'll have developed your own servers strategy, every server is different, these items sell well on my server, but maybe not yours, for tips on what items are CONSTNATLY selling use the "Toplist" option at the WoW website (if you need the link I'll post it up after I get to 3 posts lol) and check out the Auctions Sold option, this will give you an idea of whats selling on what days, and you can extend the drop down to 7 days (I usually use 5)

Reqs: some gold ( I had 100)

1. Buy all runecloth up to 150% average price from AH
2. Post ALL your runecloth at 200% or more average price
3. Buy all runecloth that gets posted at much lower price.

Some people say that its best to sell low amounts of things at a time, but whoever buys runecloth for reputation will buy a lot of stacks. So even if someone undercuts you, you will still sell some stacks.

If you have hard time selling stacks, cancel some auctions and post them for few g lower on another character, but still at a ripoff price.

I started using this method 2 days ago with 100g, I have 3000g now and about 150 stacks in auction house.

My average buying price was 3.5g/stack, selling price 10g/stack.

EDIT: Tip: Use auctioneer to see who bought your auctions and whisper your buyers, some will buy even more stacks if you offer them lower price.

Something you can do as an engineer is to split top end ammos ( Mammoth Cutters and Saronite Arrows ) into stacks of 100's instead of 1000's and put them for half the price of those with a 1000's a stack, lazy people won't notice and they will just think they got a great deal.

I've searched the thread and did't find my advice/trick.

First of all this will not work 100% of the times, for me it worked 4/5 times.

What you need:
1. A main char. (or a char. with a decent amount of gold)
2. An Alt

How to do it:
1. find an item on the auction house, (make sure there only are 1 of them.)
in my case i found the bike-mount for 15k gold.
2. now you repost it for a higher price, (in my case 20k)
3. now your log in, on your alt, and in trade chat you write WTB "your item here" "the amount of gold here" (ofc you make the price higher here)

Now your just wait. at some point a random guy will buy your item on AH, and whisper you, when he do, you give a bad excuse or something, in my case (" brb 1 min, gonna give my alt some money" ) i logged on my main, and the bike-mount was sold

5k gold profit!

Alch: 450 (transmute spec is a +++)

When deciding what type of gem to tansmute the cardinal ruby has a high investment value of an eternal fire and scarlet ruby

If your buying transmute mats and reselling I find transmut Majestic Zircon to be the most cost effective and /2 for a JC, for the 30+ stam cut usualy a highest turn around for a 12hr post

Well I have gotten back from a very long break and I remember one thing from this games AH when I played Pre-BC. If you are farming things like cloth, leather, or ore you should not flood the market with all of your items at once. I'm a new member and just wanted to contribute like the FAQ said. I hope this is not a repost.

Buy lvl 75+ greens and blues for under 13g. DE them and re sell the mats. Remember to only buy lvl 75+ because they give you the most mats.

Starting Auctioneer

Step 1: Scan the AH without buying anything twice a day for a week

Step 2: Set your filters and options for the scans you will be needing

Step 3: Use your scan and find the items you will be buying

Step 4: Browse the prices on that item to ensure a good buy

Step 5: Pick up the item from the mailbox and resell for more than you bought it

Step 6: Win

A lot of times stacks of 20 can be individually sold for a profit, the opposite is also true. This works with BC motes too

The way i have been making my money is by buying and reselling the Primordial Saronites.

I buy them at 1.5-1.8k and then resell at 2300g making an 500-800g profit each time

Back in 3.2 i moved Crusader Orb from H to A cause on my server the most good raidguilds are on H.
After my daylie AHscan i realized that A haven't a single one.

With my two Accs i switch a huge amount of it to A and sell each one for more than 200g Profit.

Im sure this will work again with the Primordial Saronites in a few weeks when the prices are normal.
