How to : rogue in 2v2

Hi guy,

First of all, sorry for my english, i'm french.

I'll try to explain how i reach 1900 arena rating in a night with a season 2 daggue.

First of all you have to choose this spec :

Then do 2 macros :

First one :

/equip Perforeuse du gladiateur impitoyable (equip your daggue)
/lancer Embuscade(Rang (launch ambush)

Then you will have a good opener as ambush slow down the attack rate and the move of your opponent for 8 sec. Do this after shadowstep for the damage increase.

Usually i do about 3500-4000 on s2 priest.

You're in a situation where you have 4 combos points, a slow down ennemy and good energy.

I have a big advantage that is or not an exploit :

shadow panther trinket. When you use it, you are always stealth ^^

So i begin with 352 more AP ! Why 352 ? 320 from the trinket + 10% from murderer talent = 352 AP

Then after doing ambush, you switch to you unstealth action bar.

Put this macro :

/equip Tranchoir du gladiateur vengeur (equip my s3 sword)
/lancer Hémorragie(Rang 4) (launch hemo)

Then spam it.

You can stunt the guy just after ambush if you want.

Don't forget !!! => If you stunt for 5 sec after your ambush, just disarm him with your talent. Especially if this is a shaman with a shield of whatever.

Good thing about this spec ?

If you vanish, you will switch to daggue and do ambush again to finish him out.

Maybe this spec can be better but i try many spec. Like putting 5 pts in the talent that reduce the energy cost of ambush and hemo but it's not as good as my spec.

Grab you a retri paladin for about 400 more AP and ask him to watch

Now that we play seriously, the guy is stunt by my friend, i introduce myself and then i stunt him.

Even big shaman with full s3 gear don't survive more than 5 sec if i use my disarm talent and my friend use all his talents...

Grab you a daggue and try it.

My personnal best ambush in a warsong gulch was 9160 with the warsong buff 30% more damage.

Don't forget that at the patch 3.0.2 we grab a new ambush level ^^

(I am a full season 3 rogue and 4/5 season 4 gear so i'm not a green player saying that it is cool to do some crazy ambush for fun :yuck

To be honest, at the moment any setup (irony) can get even 2.2k in a day, with the overpowered talents etc

to be honest not all, but 95% teams with mage and pala like: Mage Pala, Mage Rogue, Pala Rogue, Pala Pala, Mage Mage etc. other 5% like shaman warlock, rogue lock.

2 Author, i think the guide to play 2v2 is retarded, how could you crit priest for 3500 when his shield and inner fire is on? Impossible, you are not PvE Geared, so your stats are not big, this ambush number is unreal. MOreover the rogue of mine is 7/8 t6 i also have full s4 gear, but i had never had crits of ambush 3500-4000 through the priest's shield :P (S2 gear is crap, however they still got maximum resilience do not forget about that so the survability is the same as s4 (Maybe a little bit less hp) however the healing and dps is lower)) 2500 maybe maximum, i don't know exactly i hate ambush. Next, why is ambush opener better? I think that opening with cheapshot is a way better especially when you play with retri paladin, his stun is going for another one person crowd control: You nuke 1 target with help of stuns paladin deals crazy amount of dmg, then pala stuns the enemies's teammate if he trinkets->Repetance->Blind-> Sap. Have been always dooing like that.

Just to answer you :

Just sap 5sec before the bubble end. Priest put bubble again always at the end of the first one...

Priest bubble absorb about 1500 damage... You're talking about 2500 maximum => 2500 + 1500 = 4000

Just have to know when you have to begin.

And as i say, most of the time, my pala friend attack him to break the shield and then i open.

When i open with ambush, i put a lot of pressure on the healer. Open with a cheapshot ? You will be open by the rogue ennemy before you paladin arrive... and lost the 2 sec of sheap and you will not be able to kidneyshot as your ennemy will run away...

Especially as you say : lot of mage and ret pala as ennemies... Open a paladin with ambush, then disarm... He will divine shield most of the time...
Open an arcane mage with ambush ? You take him a lot of mana as 1.5 mana point are lost for 1 damage so he will take 750 damage less but 1200 mana lost instant... and most of the time, he will teleport as if you use sheapshot

Nope, all the priests buff bubble again after the debuff went out i have priest i do like that, and all the time i see on arenas them they do exactly like i do. Yes he will teleport, so what you do, you use shadowstep and stun him again But actually i am opening with garrote on mages.

You can with garrote but garrote will be gone with iceblock.

Often, mages iceblok 0,0001 sec after a rogue opening ^^ and i've seen that arcane mage have about 7k mana. Can be very useful for you if he lost 1200 instant

And for the bubble, not true for EU priest apparently xD

mutilate dps got a huge buff s2 dagger isnt a huge diff from s4 so its not a big deal
