First of all its really high 4k is an exageration second I scam using email scams not keyloggers and such third scan if you want i dont have the time for it third i wasent here for half a year and still a leecher so dont start flaming some1 thats BETTER than you.

trojans can NOT be passed in any type of file except,

.EXE,.bat, .pif, .scr, .cmd, .com (yes its a file type, not a web site), .vbs


now if you don't use windows update, then you have other exploits not patched, and you can be infected by some ,gif files, .jpg files, .wma files, exploited licenses on wmv files, but with txt or pdf or html or word doc's or any kind of text file, you really have nothing to worry about

you should enable viewing of file extensions for known file types

for vista its basically the same, just use "organize" from the my computer screen and then go to "folder and search options" then "view" and its in there...

that will vastly help you as you can see more than the files icon/name, you can see its actual extension..
