Hello, this is just an idea - and I have'nt tried it yet - but it might work.
Yes, it's plain letters CoD scam again! Now make an alt and send plain letters to your other alt: Where you write: Ticket number: 183

Now go to your other alt, who you sent the plain letters too, and take the letters, and CoD them to everyone you like: And in the mail you write:

Greetings, <Put the targets name here>.

I am now making a lottery where I have send about 200 letters, wich of 25 are wins.
Wich means your chance to win in this lottery is 12.5%
Prices:
1st price: 200g
2nd price: 100g
3rd price: 75g
4th - 25th price: 40g

To get your Lottery Ticket, you only need to pay this CoD, and you will receive a letter with your ticket number, when you've got the number, you send it back to me - and, I will check on my yellow little notepaper from the shop yesterday ( Darn, it cost me 3€ ), if you have won or not, and I will ofcourse include what price you received.
Why am I doing this? - Well, I love my server and I want to do everything, to gain some nice reputation!


Yes, so that's my idea of a nice scam, and I'm sure it will have some baits.
Ohh, and write false in every letter.

TIPS:
* It will be nice if you change the ticket number for every ticket you CoD.
* 8g 76s, is a nice price per letter
* Don't exclude anything I wrote, since those small things makes them trust you.
* Don't flame me, I'm sure you will get shot within 2minutes if you do *evil eyes*

If you actually send the letter to 200 people and lower the amount of winners a bit. You could actually pay the prizes and still make money out of this

Tho it might still not be allowed by blizz to set up an ingame lottery :/

No, if I would do this lottery for real, I would EARN money, let's count.
200 sold tickets = 200x8.77g = 1754
200g + 100g + 75g = 375g, 40gx22=880g, 375g+880g = 1255g

1754 - 1255 = 499g ~~ 500g - So, if you would do this for real, you would earn 500g.

instead of "loving my server" I would say something like.... "I'm quitting the game and would like to go out in a bang :P." Or, "I'm quitting and want to have a little fun doing it"

Has GM's said this? If so what are their motivation as to why you aren't allowed to do it? What about if it's a legit lottery?

This seems like it could work, you would need to cover up your tracks, and I think I may have a way...:

1st: Once you recieve all the money, make an alt with a similar name, send all the money to him, delete the first alt, and send the money to your main from the second alt. Then make a character with the same name as the first one on a whole new server. That should really screw blizzard over.

Raffe, I never said you WOULDN'T make money out of it, infact I said you probably would make money out of it.. The problem is that most people cba to pay for a lottery ingame. If you send out 200 letters you probably won't won't even sell half of them and you risk getting a ban as well..
