Port your alt with a mage (untested)

Idk if its old or new or not working, but I just thought of this:

1.Get a buddy n group with him on your alt u want ported
2.Open another WOW program and log in your mage.
3.Group with your buddy (your alt should be in the group offline)
4.Go to where u logged your alt and make a port to wherever u want it to go.
5.Quickly get back on ur alt and use the portal and viola.

I know this may seem like a lot of trouble, but on some servers, llike dragonmaw, people like me are the only nice magi who are willing to port people. Somewhat useless, but hey its cool right?

I can tell you for a fact that it works unless the leaving of the party at logout inflicts it, but i've done it for my 60 to get to Dire Maul easier (from SW)

The main benefit of it though, and just about the only one, is that you don't have to pay the mage for the service of actually doing it...

If you find a mage that will do it for like 20 silver though don't bother

Edit: Actually i never did do this method, i just alt + f4.....
