See this is where you don't do your research, and look like an ignorant moron. There are plenty of services that will try to HELP you get unbanned, none of them guarantee you an unban, and state that. The chances of you getting unbanned depend on your appeal, the reason for your ban, and sticking to your story.

Currently, there are 3 common ways to get unbanned:

1. Appeal, with the support of, or not, an unban service
2. Knowing the right people (which is a very rare occurance, and requires a lot of social engineering)
3. Appealing multiple times and then sending a physical letter to the Legal team based in France

People who provide an unbanning service aren't "ripping you off" if they state clearly it's not a guarantee, but still somehow have some pretty decent reviews. IIRC even some of the ex OC staff run services (example (★SEPHIROFL★ ★LIFETIME UNBAN SERVICE★ ★3 Years Experience★))

In short, you can get unbanned, it's not always easy and it can take time (and money if you don't know how to deal with appeals correctly)

So please, don't be talking trash about people you don't know.

1. An opinion isn't truthful, it's an opinion
2. You open insulted various respected members of the OC community by calling their services false. So don't try and throw the rulebook at me.

I wouldn't say it's a waste, some people who are banned in part of waves / minor things can often get their bans reduced/removed quite easily, but perhaps they don't always know what they need to ask for. The way in which appeals are structured is important; it's like a covering letter for a job, some people can do it, other's can't.
