    Question on ban issue

Attachment 23134So maybe one or the other has read that my account got banned 3 days ago. Perma ban it says on the b.net page and one day after the ban there was no info on the forums. Meaning I could post like usually, nothing has changed. Yesterday tho I noticed that the forum access was closed. I was looking into why and saw the message that it was due to ingame activity (reason). Obscene language. But quoted was a forum topic in which I replied very directly and as it seems, some individuals didnt like that.

Why was ingame issue picked, when a forum reply was quoted as reason? And furthermore and most importantly regarding the seemingly perma ban: Is this not a perma ban?

It says permanently closed in the b.net account page, but on the forums it says temporary suspension lifted on 26.01. The b.net account and all licenses are directly linked to the forums. So you cant have a perma ban and post at the same time. The license is shut down. Does this mean this is not a perma ban in itself, but just the wording is wrongly phrased on the account page?

I have attached two images showing whats going on

They haven't fully integrated their new suspension system (suspending vs. closing accounts), so ban reasons are going to be a little wonky until it's all straightened out.

It'll stay like that forever, mine still says suspended for 48 hours for trolling even though i was perma banned in the pqr ban wave.

The forum just uses you last forum suspension as the ban reason for your ingame activitys.

Do you mean the perma-ban, or what it says it is, will not be lifted?

It will not be lifted, you may be able to remove the ban via support but if you got banned in a bot banwave that wow account is unlikely to be recoverable.

Nothing happened in a bot banwave, the account does not want to be recovered either. Please read my initial post. It saves you time and energy. Thank you.

I got a 6 month ban (stated in the e-mail and stated by live support) on an account and on the B-Net page it says permanently banned. So the Battle net page is simply incorrect

Interesting. I did not ask the live support how long the ban would last. I contacted the customer support directly, asking them "if" the ban can be lifted due to me being unaware what exactly happened (to this day) and they simply refused. That in itself does not mean they are aware. Mostly seem to just read up information and not really investigate. Esp when it says "no further discussion" (etc).

I will contact the live chat today
