Priest pvp

Hi guys, my name is yorlik and basically this thread is useless, i just need posts.
But im a 80 night elf priest and im 600 resil and running 1600 2v2.
I'm actually getting really bored playing wow, any way to spice up a priest's life?

Not really... Do you play disc or shadow? I'm guessing disc. I just BG/duel a lot, do skrims when I'm bored, anything :P.

Or do 2v2 for fun, and 3v3/5v5 competitive.

I actaully just turned 80 a couple weeks ago and i'm still half blue with blue wep/wand.
i'm like 1500 spellpower so 1600 is actually REALLY good for me.

Go disc
Get your resilience first to at least 800
Get your health very high
Once those 2 are looking good and only then ( takes a while) start pumping up your spellpower

Watch some priest pov arena movies to see what they are doing/timing things
LOS like crazy
Use addons such as spellalert or powerauras to know what to dispel or when to start pre-healing burst.
Time your dps with your partner usually when hes ready to burst and you can chain 2+ cc's( very important for playing in higher brackets).


Find a partner that works in 2's ( rogue, mage for 2k+, though any class you can reach at least 1850)

Really start grinding bg's for deadly gear and relentless off pieces, try to do heroic toc for the dagger.

I'm disc right now and I've only got about 550 resilience. I mean, depending on your playstyle, it can be boring, or you'll think it's a blast. Personally, I just like the thought of tanking mobs of players while everyone else kills them. You don't need a lot of resilience to play it correctly. You just need to keep PoM up, renew up, shield up, and Penance the hell out of yourself.

I got pretty tired of playing recently. Being a Priest isn't for everyone. I've been playing the class since '04. MC'ing people off EoTS is the only enjoyable thing left.
