Any other hunters have problems farming?

even with aspect of viper, i run out of mana pretty fast and have to drink, becasue i also have to heal my pet.. when im farming elementals my pet can take maybe 2-3 mobs before i have to heal and that cost ALOT of mana, anyone got any suggestions for good pets to farm with

Problems farming ? No not really, try respeccing to Beast Mastery. If you are BM already, then l2p mate. There isnt any class easier to farm with, then hunters.

I'm a hunter too, you don't use any of the serpents sting or any other kinda of useless mana draining thing do you. I've found that the poisonous stuff just sucks up all of you mana.

spec beastmastery and intelligence is important for hunters as well. as BM u should be easy to farm, i am 6/41/sumfin and it is awesome for farming, of course i run out of mana after 5-6 mobs.
Sounds to me that you need to learn some attack cycles. there is no reason to use aimed shot when ur mob is below 20% health in my opinion. maybe even 30 or 40. this is the reason that I find arcane shot or just autoshoot to be better.

Here's how i usually own an elemental.

1. Target
2. Mark
3. Misdirection on pet
3. Aimed shot *wait about 1,5 sec*
4. Send pet in
5. Spam Arcane shot after Aimed shot hits the target ( it's a bug, let's exploit it, shall we ? )
6. After some hits you might get aggro, so just shoot Concessive Shot and use steady shot...

Then repeat this at another mob.
