Ley Race Teleport, Useful?

Thought you guys would appreciate this.

1. Start a Ley Race quest.
2. Once on the Mana Saber (at any point), use a disconnect macro.
3. When you log back in, you should still have the debuff and buff.
4. Once you leave the zone, you will be teleported back to the coordinates of the Ley Race start point. However the game doesn't check to see if it's the right continent.

I hearthed to my garrison after starting the Azsuna Ley Race and it teleported me off the coast of Nagrand.

I assume you would be able to get summoned into an instance and be teleported back into the direction of the ley race, plus, each ley race is in a different spot so there might be a lot of possibilities.

Disconnect Macro I was using:
/run SetPendingReportTarget("target") ReportPlayer("badplayername","pending","")

Am messing around with this at the moment and figured that blowing this whistle which brings you to the nearest flight point right before jumping on a Mana Saber does pretty much the same. You'll get ported to the flight point but you keep the buffs. Am going to update this if I find more you can do with it. Nice share, wasn't even aware of a recent dc-macro :P +rep

As you say, a lot of potential here so thank you.

Using the WQ in Val'sharah and then teleporting to Eastern Kingdoms/Kalimdor always placed me in unknown zones with water, no fatigue, simillar to what happens if you disconnect before flying into the Ghostlands portal in Eastern Plaguelands.

Booty Bay hearthstone ended up here.

Landing in the water got me -very- stuck however.
Someone with an instant cast mount could probably explore further.

Love this.

Does not work in pvp.

Tried it in the eye of azshara dungeon and it teleports you to the original ley race location in azsuna- but within the eye of azshara instance. There's a huge amount of the broken isles there. So much so that I thought I was in the world but phased.
